St. Patrick’s Day is coming soon!  How is this holiday celebrated?  There’s green galore, shamrocks, leprechauns, parties, parades, etc.  Why is St. Patrick’s Day celebrated?  This link is a thorough outline of how St. Patrick’s Day came about: https://www.history.com/topics/st-patricks-day/history-of-st-patricks-day

One of the most symbolic parts of St. Patrick’s Day is the leprechaun.  This word originates from the Celtic word “lobaircin” meaning “small-bodied fellow.”  The leprechaun is supposed to bring magical powers of either good or bad.  (Let’s hope for good magical powers in a real estate transaction!)

If a leprechaun is a small person, what would a leprechaun’s house look like?  Here are some thoughts!

A leprechaun’s house is most likely built for a short statured person.  The Jolly Green Giant would have a tough time getting in this house!

A leprechaun’s house would have a Pot of Gold.

Likely the color scheme would be green everywhere!

Since a leprechaun is a small fellow, there’s probably a sewing room for the hat and clothes that can’t be found in stores or online.

Check out the fridge and cupboards for all the ingredients to make corned beef and cabbage.  Perhaps this will be cooking in a crockpot.

A leprechaun will need something to wash down the Irish food.  Check the fridge- perhaps full of green beer.

A leprechaun’s house will undoubtedly need a dance floor for an Irish jig.
